KINGSTON, Jamaica — The South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) has reported that normal operations have resumed at the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH).
According to SERHA the hospital resorted to offering limited services yesterday due to an electrical shortage that left some areas of the facility without power. The health authority said contingencies were immediately put in place to ensure continuity of health care service delivery where possible. The hospital’s management will continue to monitor the situation to ensure, as best as possible, that there are no further disruptions in service delivery.
