Gas prices down $0.26, diesel down $0.33
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, April 27, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $108.97 and $111.81 per litre, respectively, down by $0.26 each.Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $108.18 per litre following a decrease of $0.33, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.99, and will be sold for $112.05 per litre.Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.98 and will be sold for $90.69 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $43.32 per litre, down by $1.36 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $47.99 per litre after a decrease of $1.36.Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
