Jafe’ spreads his wings
Singer Jafe’ is one to keep an eye on. The newcomer is ready to spread his wings, having gained valuable knowledge about music through his association with producers like Christopher Birch.
He is currently promoting the song Tribe Style produced by Getamilli.
The Montego Bay native who now resides in New Jersey has been around music since his youth.
“My dad owned a sound system called Drunken Master so I grew up listening to music,” said the 20-year-old, whose real name is Jahmani Grant.
Influenced by Beres Hammond and Garnet Silk, Jafe said he began writing songs at age 10. He followed his father’s footsteps and became a sound system selector.
With Tribe Style he wants fans to hear the “versatility and freshness I bring to the music”.
