Tribute to Jennifer Samuda An iconic figure and inspiration to us all A professional of the highest standart Tribute to Jennifer Samuda
Mrs Jennifer Samuda was an iconic figure in aesthetics and skincare industry, not only in Jamaica but in the Caribbean and the United States. She also shared her expertise as far away as France and Italy. Jennifer was ambitious and dreamed of changing the way Jamaicans approached skin care.
She was not content with the limitations of doing business from home and with the support of her loving and loyal husband Lloyd, she moved into bigger accommodations on Red Hills Road.
As her reputation grew and clients came in droves, Red Hills Road was bursting at the seams and the Hope Road home was born. I am happy I was there to witness the ground breaking and to see Jencare Skin Farm emerge and grow into a force.
At Jencare, Queen Jennifer reigned supreme, always trying to give each person individual attention.
Jennifer was the consummate professional, an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, friend and employer but above all, she was a great human being. She trained and made a difference in the lives of scores of young people, in particular young women.
Her mark on Jamaica’s business landscape has been strong and enduring. Left in capable hands, I am certain the business she built will continue as a lasting legacy of her creativity and industry.
She remains a great role model and a shining light to women everywhere. We will never forget this amazing woman and principles for which she stood.
We will miss her soft voice, her infectious laughter and her humility.
Walk good Jennifer and May light perpetual shine upon you.
