The WLI has earned tremendous respect for its advocacy programmes, including the hosting of ‘Darkness to Light’ workshops which educate participants on how to prevent sexual abuse before it happens, to recognise signs of sexual abuse in children and unsafe behaviours in adults, and teach people how to react responsibly when children disclose or an adult discovers or suspects sexual abuse.
