Frass Hill upbeat about Florida gig
Deejay Frass Hill is looking forward to his first major performance overseas at the Tampa Festival on April 5 in Florida.
“Right now, the thing sick! The response to Mi Know She Know inna the streets well loud, and the promoters see what a gwaan on Instagram and reach out to mi management, so it’s a good look. I am looking forward to the show in Tampa,” Frass Hill told the Jamaica Observer.
In the meantime, he is pushing ahead with the promotion of Mi Know She Know and Bad E Gyal, both of which are hardcore singles appealing to his growing female fan base. He recently shot a video for Mi Know She Know.
“Mi premiere the video last week and it ah get crazy spins; ah da song ya ah go buss me to the world,” said the 28-year-old artiste, whose real name is Emelio Kirk Paulo Johnson.
Frass Hill has built up a decent hardcore following , and is known for singles such as Clap It Up, featuring ex-Gaza member Tommy Lee Sparta; and Come A Road, a tribute to Vybz Kartel. In 2016, he inked a recording and booking deal with Sophia B Records and Investment Inc, and he has not looked back since.
Other singles in the works include Wicked Man Move for PayDay Music and Whoi Now Gal for Chase Mills Records.
