Caribbean Foods Limited, through its Foska Oats brand continues to champion the promotion of a healthy lifestyle for all Jamaicans, as it collaborates with the Heart Foundation of Jamaica for Heart Month 2017. The company as one of the main sponsors of Heart Month 2017 will engage in several activities being organized by the Foundation, namely a number of outside broadcasts where members of public will be able to be screened for various illnesses relating to the heart.
Director of Caribbean Foods Limited, Ms. Kathryn Silvera states that the Foska brand is committed to assist Jamaica having a more healthy population, which is one of the central mantras of the company’s corporate social responsibility platform. The company therefore continues to use different platforms to inform Jamaicans about healthier dietary options to help in the reduction in the number of deaths that are caused by non-communicable diseases, which are primarily caused by unhealthy eating and lifestyle choices.
