Gas prices down $0.47, diesel down $0.32
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, January 26, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $95.69 and $97.35 per litre, respectively, down by $0.47 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $93.38 per litre following a decrease of $0.32, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.75, and will be sold for $102.06 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.64 and will be sold for $85.53 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $35.16 per litre, up by $0.20 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $40.80 per litre after an increase of $0.15.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
