Wise Investment – Scotiabank happy to be aboard Super Cup train
Scotiabank has taken renewed interest in football, signing on as an associate sponsor of the ISSA/FLOW Super Cup.
Having previously signed an international partnership with CONCACAF in 2014, the Canadian-based bank is now extending their reach through the widely popular Super Cup play-offs, often referred to the “Champions League of Schoolboy Football”.
“We are very excited to be part of this activity,” said Yanique Forbes Patrick, vice-president of marketing at Scotiabank.
“We have been a long-standing supporter of youth sports and we think this property is a good segue from our current regional youth football sponsorship,” she added.
As part of their activation, patrons will get to participate in The Future Goals Challenge for an opportunity to win $10,000 for getting the ball into the goal in one attempt. Already six winners have been selected from the initial matches played on the weekend of October 21.
