Causewell sentenced to life in prison

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Businessman Steven Causewell was today sentenced to life in prison for the 2008 murder of his girlfriend, Nadia Mitchell at her Oaklands Apartment in St Andrew. 

The 44-year-old convict will have to serve 20 years in prison before being eligible for parole.

He was sentenced by Justice Carol Lawrence-Beswick when he appeared in the Home Circuit Court.
