When did you start playing football?
I started playing football in grade one at Howard Cooke Primary.
Which team did you play against in your first daCosta Cup match?
Maldon High in 2013.
Who is your international football idol?
Carles Puyol, formerly of Barcelona, and Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid.
How do you rate your school’s chances in this year’s competition?
I think we have the players and the team to win trophies this year and we are very confident. We have been together for a number of years now.
Which school do you fear most and why?
There is no team that we fear; we know our abilities and once we go out to play we know we can beat any team on any day. However, a rematch in the FLOW Super Cup with Jamaica College would be one we would look forward to.
How important is it for a student athlete to have a solid education?
It is very important because God forbid, while playing football something serious happens to end your career, it is important that you have your academics that you can continue to excel in business.
What are your educational achievements to date?
I just finished CXC and got 10 passes, four ones, five twos and a three.
What is your ultimate life ambition?
I am thinking of something in the engineering field or maybe business, but have not fully made up my mind yet.
Who has had the biggest impact on your life?
My mother, Dionne Grant. she has motivated me all my life and she has made a lot of sacrifices for me to do the best I can and I want to make sure that she is taken care of.
