Two-day health fair at Dinthill High starts tomorrow
THE Florida Chapter of Dinthill Technical High School Alumni Association is hosting its annual health fair at the school in Linstead this Friday and Saturday.
Under the leadership of Dr Cheryl Todd, wife of alumnus Clayton Todd, medical and dental services will be extended to all 1,500 Dinthill students, including returning and newly registered students.
More than 40 medical and non-medical personnel, including but not limited to doctors, dentists, physical therapists, nurse practitioners and nurses will travel from the United States to Jamaica today to meet and work with volunteers to execute the project.
The Florida chapter said it is providing the services free of charge in order to mitigate back-to-school expenses.
“This has never been done before, so we will work tirelessly to ensure that each student is seen during the course of the two days,” a news release from the alumni association said.
