India stretch lead to 229 at lunch in second Test match at Sabina Park
KINGSTON, Jamaica – India reached 425-6 at lunch on day three, stretching their lead over the West Indies to 229 runs in the second Test match at Sabina Park.
Scores: West Indies 196 (52.3 overs); India 425-6 (151.4 overs)
After resuming this morning on 358-5, India’s lone wicket to fall was that of Wriddhimam Saha. He was trapped leg before wicket to the hardworking West Indies seam bowler and Captain Jason Holder in the final over before the interval for 47.
Ajinkya Rahane, who was unbeaten on 42 overnight, has moved on to 74.
India lead the four-match series 1-0 after winning the first Test in Antigua a week ago.
