Eight horses claimed on Saturday
Eight horses were claimed on the nine-race programme at Caymanas Park last Saturday.
Clifford Atkinson Jr claimed Star New Vista for himself for $450,000 from Carl Anderson, while Anthony Subratie lostSir South for $450,000 to Ryan Darby for Raphael Gordon from the first race.
In the fifth race – all on a claiming tag of $250,000 – Warrior Princess was taken from Norman Smith by Clifford Atkinson Jr acting as both trainer and owner; Winesha was claimed from Dennis Pryce by Norman Smith for Michael Ray;Uncle G was claimed by Wayne DaCosta for Carlton Watson from Rowan Mathie; Fifttyonestorm was claimed from Marlon Anderson by Lee Clarke for himself; Bad Boy Justin was claimed by Marlon Anderson for Rampage from Ryan Darby, and Dennis Lee took Reign Over All for himself from Adin Williams.
