Three men arrested, car seized in St Elizabeth drug bust
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — The police on Monday arrested three men for suspected breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act in Black River, St Elizabeth. A motorcar was also seized.
Reports are that about 6:00 pm, lawmen were carrying out a special operation in the area when a motor vehicle with three men aboard was stopped, searched and four and a half kilograms of cocaine was found.
The estimated street value of the cocaine is J$5,261,000.
The men were taken into custody and it is expected that they will be charged after being interviewed in the presence of their attorneys. Their identities are being withheld at this time.
