Inhale… Exhale…

This week the team at Adam and Eve Day Spa introduces an exciting new range of products and treatments specially developed in line with distinctive Jamaican elements Land, Wood & Water: The Jamaican Patwah Scrub, the Jamaican Bamboo Massage, the Jamaican Island Facial, and the Rock Steady Mani and Pedis. The treatments have been formulated with a variety of local ingredients including zesty local lemongrass’ scent rich spices pimento and cinnamon; classic Jamaican herbs hemp and cerassee; and local fruits bissy and soursop.

“Our beautiful island is blessed with so many natural resources and minerals that enhance the mind, skin, and body…” says Managing Director Kimisha Walker, who continued “I’ve had the concept for some time now. I’ve been in the spa business for 9 years and noticed we have a lot of foreign themed treatments on the island… tourists who come for our sun sea and sand would also love to experience our distinctive natural herbs ! I had to do my research to ensure these ingredients are truly Jamaican and now my creatively enthusiastic team and I can be proud of these authentic culture-infused products and rhytmic treatments that we hope to one day see all over the world !

With the assistance of spa elder Sharon Evans – who assisted with formulating each treatment as she KNOWS herbs like the back of her hands – Adam and Eve takes you Under the Dryer for some tips on how to pamper Dad with some rock steady irie vibes.

The new spa products include:

The new spa products include:

The Jamaican Patwah Scrub is a product made of Jamaican herbs and is used for skin exfoliation and detoxification. The scrub is applied in the rainforest room where customers experience a deep state of zen, and total body revitalization.

The muscles are the core focus for The Jamaican Bamboo Massage. The benefits of Bamboo are far-reaching; the plant is known to relax tired and achy muscles and the natural oils enhance the skin tone. The massage technique also maneuvres and penetrates the joints to allow greater muscle flexibility.

The

Jamaican Island Facial is packed with a variety of combined herbs and spices that are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients beneficial for the skin. Following a skin consultation, a personalized herb-infused concoction is created. After application, a bamboo treatment is implemented, which relaxes the facial muscles, improves the flow of oxygen, increases elasticity and promotes proper blood flow and lymph circulation – this has anti-aging properties and aids in removing impurities.

To put it simply, the Rock Steady Mani and Pedi offers an authentic bamboo-infused treatment like no other. An infused soak softens callous proned areas with local herbs that are customised to suit the client to either invigorate, increase circulation or soothe. Post treatments oils also feature bespoke concoctions formulated to give each client a scent-sational fresh finish.
