‘New and exciting’ promised at Caribbean Fashion Week 2016
Pulse’s Caribbean Fashion Week kicked off their week of promised exciting events earlier today at Villa Ronai.
“Caribbean Fashion Week 2016 is going to be a magical fashion village and the premiere fashion event of all time” said CEO of Pulse Investments Safia Cooper.
Cooper says the event is one worth looking forward to as this year brings numerous new and fun aspects.
This year marks the sixteenth year for Caribbean Fashion Week and the 36th for Pulse Investments. The week’s long list of events follows the theme of “The Caribbean Tribute to Prince”. These events range from a purple-themed CFW Pepperseed party at Pulse8 tomorrow, to Prince’s band The Time, and Morris Day performing live on Sunday. Collections being shown will also have aspects of Prince reflected in them.
A major change to Pulse’s structure this year is their relocation of major events to The Refuge at Villa Ronai, Old Stony Hill Road.
According to Romae Gordon Fashion Director at Pulse, the move is symbolic as Caribbean Fashion Week began at Villa Ronai.
teenAGE will be covering various events throughout the week.
