Pepperpot – 18 Degrees South… again
Television Jamaica very wisely nixed the repeat of the programme called 18 Degrees North, which claimed to be an investigative work on the issue of properties owned by Andrew Holness and taxes allegedly not paid. The matter is now in the hands of the court. In the meantime, TVJ needs to do a better job of vetting programmes it plans to air.
Mourning with the media
You have to feel it for the media and
The Gleaner for losing two of their best journalists in the space of less than a week. I did not personally know Mr Gary Spaulding or Mr Glenroy Sinclair but their work stood out. May their souls rest in peace.
Mother-daughter rivalry
It’s bound to happen in life, but that doesn’t make it any less ugly. The mother and daughter fighting in public over a man who seems to be two-timing them. The daughter complains that her sexy momma parades all the time in shorts in front of her boyfriend and now she fears the two are sleeping together while the daughter is at work. Isn’t that what they call shame and scandal in the family?
Hooray for Hillary Clinton!
All my girls are feeling proud that at long last America has recognised that a woman can lead that country by having the first woman to run as the nominee for a major party. You bet she’ll do a better job than many of the previous 44 presidents, if she wins the November election.
Question of the week
Will anyone pay for all that profligate spending of public funds at the Factories Corporation of Jamaica?
