Joan Duncan Foundation’s CEO, Kim Mair (left), and Sharon Gibson (second left), general manager, JMMB Money Transfer, are happy to present a symbolic cheque to Deborah Chen (second right) and Peter Bangerter of Heart Foundation of Jamaica at the recent Go Red for Women High Tea event held at the Terra Nova All Suite Hotel.The event was designed to raise funds for purchasing an echocardiogram machine for the Heart Foundation of Jamaica. The cheque signals the JMMB Money Transfer’s commitment to supporting the entity’s mandate to reduce cardiovascular diseases in Jamaica. The donation follows an agreement made by JMMB Money Transfer to give one per cent of all its intra-island fees up to March 2016 with a matching amount provided by the Joan Duncan Foundation, up to J$75,000.
