Kirky D’s Passion for Fashion
Kirky D celebrates his birthday on May 21 with the annual Passion For Fashion event at United Banquet Hall in Hartford, Connecticut.
“This is my annual birth-night extravaganza that I have been keeping for over a decade. I did the first one in 1996 at the Extremes Nightclub in Portmore,” he said.
According to Kirky D, Hartford’s finest will be at Passion For Fashion. Co-hosts are Jason Brown, Dainty Bashment and Jason T, with music by DJ Schoolaz and Hotlexx.
Kirky D, whose real name is Kirkland Falconer, is also promoting the single Passion For Fashion.
His career got going in the late 1990s after graduating from Excelsior High School. From Waterhouse, he cut a few songs for ‘area’ producer King Jammy before migrating to the United States.
