Father, daughter die after motorcycle collides with truck

KINGSTON, Jamaica – A man and his daughter were killed in a traffic collision on Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 11, yesterday.

They have been identified as Norman Delhall and Shemelle Delhall of Franklyn Town, Kingston 2.

Reports from the Hunts Bay police are that about 5:20 pm, the Norman was driving a motorcycle along the roadway with his daughter as his pillion passenger when the motorcycle crashed into a cement mixer motor truck.

The police assisted the Delhalls to hospital where they died while being treated.

The driver of the motor truck was not injured.

Investigations are continuing, the police say.
