Top players for the Guardian Life Open Junior Tennis Series
Top junior players Jenna Harrison, Moesha Fox, John Chin and Damani Cain are confirmed to participate in the 15th staging of the Guardian Life Open Junior Tennis Tournament scheduled for the Liguanea Club, today and tomorrow.
One of the players, Harrison, believes his hard work will pay off in the end.
“I have been training hard and I am looking forward to an exciting tournament. It’s always a rewarding experience,” Harrison said.
According to Juven Montague-Anderson, Integrated Marketing Communications Manager at Guardian Life, the organisation has been committed to the growth and development of this tournament since its inception.
“We have been on board since day one and we will continue to provide whatever support we can, for as long as we can, as we play our part in developing the talents of our younger generation,” Montague- Anderson said.
Montague-Anderson encouraged the players to continue to perform well on and off the court.
“In everything that you do, do it well with passion, know your purpose, and always be able to hold your head high knowing that you did everything you could. People will notice as you stand out,” she said.
Llockett McGregor, Tournament Director, said it is a rewarding feeling each year to see the players competing on the court.
“Some of these players we have seen over the years and they have matured not only in their approach to the game but also in their own personal development,” McGregor said.
Action each day gets under way at 9:00 am, with the presentations scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm.
