Paul Wilson signs 2-year deal with Harrisburg City Islanders
Portmore United FC midfield player Paul ‘Kiki’ Wilson has signed a two-year contract with Harrisburg City Islanders from Pennsylvania, USA.
Harrisburg City Islanders compete in the USL competitions. Wilson started at Portmore United FC representing the Under-15 team. He went on to represent the club at Under-17, Under-20, Under-21 levels and the senior team, and assisted in winning numerous championships for the teams for which he was selected.
A diminutive and outstanding player at Glenmuir High School, Wilson also represented Jamaica at Under-17, Under-20 and Under-23 levels. He was acclaimed the most outstanding player on Jamaica’s team that competed at the 2015 CAC Games in Mexico.
In 2009, Wilson and Omar Holness were the Jamaicans selected from the Digicel Kick-Start Clinic, staged in the Caribbean, to participate at the Sunderland Academy in the United Kingdom.
Wilson is slated to depart the island today to join his new club.
