#DecisionJa2016: JLP supporters party in Clarendon SE
CLARENDON, Jamaica — Supporters of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) at St Andrew Anglican Church in the constituency of Clarendon South Eastern are in a celebratory mood, dancing and trumpeting vuvuzuelas in the street.
They have partially blocked the Rocky Point main road.
“We just a celebrate the champion bwoy,” one supporter told the Jamaica Observer.
Another shouted: “JLP, we win already!” as she danced and blew her green vuvuzella.
The PNP candidate for Clarendon South Eastern is Patricia Duncan-Sutherland. The JLP rival, and incumbent is Rudyard Spencer.
Meanwhile, on the inside of the polling division, voters are becoming rowdy as they await their turn to cast their ballot. They have aborted the lines and have now crowded the doorway.
