#DecisionJa2016: Duncan-Price rubbishes claims she could not mobilise supporters
ST ANDREW, Jamaica – Aspiring member of parliament for St Andrew East Rural Imani Duncan-Price was received warmly by People’s National Party (PNP) supporters when she arrived at the polling station at St Benedict’s Primary this afternoon.
Shortly after greeting women and men clad in orange, she told OBSERVER ONLINE that there is “no truth” to rumors that she was having trouble mobilising her supporters in the Harbour View Division.
Duncan-Price, the daughter of PNP stalwart DK Duncan, is squaring off with Jamaica Labour Party candidate Juliet Holness, wife of JLP leader Andrew Holness.
Both are first-time candidates.
