#DecisionJa2016: Comrades confident Neita Headley will repeat
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — People’s National Party (PNP) supporters from the community of West Prospect in North Central St Catherine says they are confident that incumbent Natalie Neita Headley will retain her seat.
The group that flocked the entrance of the West Prospect polling station said they would never swap proven progress for promises.
“Labourite where? That wouldn’t rational,” one member of the group shouted.
Aldane Ferguson another of the young supporters in the group said that Neita Headley boasts an impeccable track record.
“Is you are undecided, cheering for the JLP [Jamaica Labour Party] then you must be blind,” Ferguson said.
He told OBSERVER ONLINE that Neita Headley was an exemplary member of parliament and should remain because she is dedicated to the development of the community.
“I will be voting for Natalie Neita Headley because I have personally benefitted from her good work.
“She had sponsored me when I was doing my CSEC subjects and so many other youth with the introduction of the HEART Trust/NTA institute, she also sponsors all sporting engagements and she also refurbished the Bog Walk High school and community centre football fields,” Ferguson said.
He also sang praises of her personal qualities, describing her as reliable, efficient and one of the only member of parliaments that has an open number on her brochure.
Natalie Neita Headley is going up against newly appointment JLP representative Kerensia Morrison.
