Election derails Bacchanal Fridays
TOMORROW’S staging of soca party Bacchanal Fridays scheduled for Mas Camp in St Andrew, has been postponed due to the general election.
Charmaine Franklin, a director of Bacchanal Jamaica — event organiser, said decision was in keeping with directives from the police. She said the weekly event would however, resume on March 4.
“We will be back on schedule on Friday, March 4, when we will celebrate the fusion between Bacchanal and dancehall,” she said.
