#DecisionJa2016: Comrades gather for final mass rally before election
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — Hundreds of People’s National Party (PNP) supporters are now gathered in Portia Simpson Miller Square in St Andrew, for the party’s final mass rally ahead of Thursday’s general election.
This is the party’s final attempt to sure up support, as all political activities are expected to end 24 hours before the national polls.
Party leader and Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller is slated to deliver the main address, where she is expected to further outline her party’s plan for the next five years.
The party currently has 42 seats to the Opposition Jamaica Labour Party’s 21.
