Cervical cancer screening in Mandeville
Mandeville, Manchester — The Southern Regional Health Authority through its Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Control Unit says it will undertake a cervical cancer screening initiative at the St. Mark’s Anglican Church Hall here tomorrow (February 23).
A news release said Women, 25 to 54, will have free cervical cancer screenings while free health checks and health education activities will be provided throughout the day.
The day’s activities will begin with a march at 8: 30 am through Mandeville starting from the Manchester Shopping Centre up along Caledonia Road , left onto Manchester Road then to the town centre and Willowgate and ending at the St Mark’s Anglican Church Hall. An opening ceremony begins at 10: 00 am.
