#DecisionJa2016: Cuthbert Flynn urges Jamaicans to vote JLP on Thursday
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — Olympian and Jamaica Labour Party candidate for St Andrew West Rural Juliet Cuthbert Flynn says after “22 years of mismanagement”, Jamaicans should on Thursday go out and register their votes for the Jamaica Labour Party.
“On Thursday I’m asking the 32 per cent of [those] unemployed to come out and vote,” Cuthbert Flynn urged.
She was speaking at the party’s mass meeting now under way in Half-Way-Tree square, St Andrew.
Cuthbert Flynn said for 22 years, Jamaicans have been starved of basic amenities such as water and electricity.
She insisted that the only thing the People’s National Party can boast about is the construction of highways.
The Olympian said while constructing highways is good, several constituencies remain underdeveloped, including St Andrew West Rural.
At the same time, she said political rival Paul Buchanan has been disingenuous about work done in the constituency.
She said: “Labourites, PNP love to spread propaganda.”
“…We are the ones who will step up the progress,” she said.
