#DecisionJa2016: Convince others to vote PNP, Burke urges supporters
ST JAMES, Jamaica — General Secretary of the ruling People’s National Party (PNP), Paul Burke, has told hundreds of party supporters gathered at the Catherine Hall Sports Complex in Montego Bay, St James, for a mass rally, that there is much work to be done before Thursday’s general election.
“Comrades we have some work to do, we have some work to do. Over the next three days I want you to identify at least 10 persons who might be confused, who might be fooled… I want you to engage them, to speak to them and to make sure that they put the ‘X’ beside the head,” Burke told the party supporters.
He, however, expressed confidence that the party would be returned to power in Thursday’s general election.
