#DecisionJa2016: PNP’s Andre Hylton ‘very confident’
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — Moments after arriving at the nomination centre for the constituency of St Andrew Eastern, People’s National Party candidate Andre Hylton says he is “very confident” ahead of election day, which is set for February 25.
The incumbent said his team has put in the work over the past four years so he has every reason to be confident.
As for the 254 votes which he won the seat by in 2011, Hylton stated: “We are going to increase that margin.”
Hylton is expected to go up against the Jamaica Labour Party’s candidate, Fayval Williams, who is expected to arrive at the nomination centre at noon.
