#DecisionJa2016: Ferguson denies intimidating JLP supporters
ST THOMAS, Jamaica — Dr Fenton Ferguson, the People’s National Party candidate for St Thomas Eastern has described as false reports that he attempted to intimidate Jamaica Labour Party candidate Delano Seiveright.
Ferguson, while addressing Comrades at a PNP rally in Yallahs square, St Thomas, a short while ago said the reports and allegations are a “tissue of lies”.
Seiveright in a media release today accused Ferguson of bullying his supporters who were in the constituency for a meeting.
Ferguson insisted that in all his 37 years in the constituency, he has never endorsed political violence. He said he is the wrong politician with which to associate violence.
The labour minister said Seiveright is in panic mode and is clutching at straws because he will not win come February 25 when Jamaicans go to the polls.
