It seems like Instagram users are now able to see who “follows back” with the introduction of the social site’s newest feature.

This will definitely makes it easier to identify who your real social media friends are.

The new feature also enables you to see if you are friends with anyone who doesn’t follow you or vice versa, just like Twitter. Also, if you don’t follow a user, the site will show you all of the persons you follow, who follows them, which might increase your chance of following them. Or, it might just simply be someone you know! Apparently, the platform is still testing the feature out, so not every user will be able to see it.

One of the biggest complaints from users was the fact that it was hard to identify mutual friends; though, as we all say, it’s just social media, it’s not that serious, but just maybe, it is a little serious. I’m sure it would suck to know that none of the people you follow, follows you back. So, good going Instagram!
