Crowning moment for KPH
SELECTOR Rohan ‘Ninja Crown’ Henry of the Mighty Crown sound system presented a Vital Monitor to the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) on December 24.
The multifaceted machine, which is used to measure ailments, including blood pressure and diabetes, was handed over to hospital administrators, including Senior Medical Officer, Dr Natalie Whylie.
Henry, who lives in New York, visited the facility last July and met with Whylie and some of her colleagues. He expressed an interest in assisting the KPH to purchase critical apparatus.
“There’s still lots to be done, but it takes time and I feel like we’re getting there,” said Henry.
The Kingston-born selector plans to establish a relationship with the KPH which is located in West Kingston. His next project is to get wards there painted.
