Three Angels celebrates 10th anniversary
Mandeville, Manchester — Three Angels Pharmacy here, recently marked ten years in business.
The milestone was shared with clients in mid-December through a Customer Appreciation and Health Fair.
“We checked over seventy-five persons for high blood pressure, blood glucose and blood cholesterol,” said pharmacist and managing director Rohan McNellie.
Sponsors including CARIMED, Massy Distribution, Lasco, T Geddes Grant and Facey Commodity came bearing gifts and gave product information to those who turned out.
The refreshments and live broadcast of Mello FM and Power 106 from the Caledonia Road location provided a full treat for customers.
Bernice McNellie who partners with her husband in operating the business said that there has been steady growth over the years.
“It has been phenomenal. The support is tremendous,” she said.
She said that the location of the business across from the Mandeville Regional Hospital is a “win, win” but the friendly and cost-effective service has further accounted for the achievements.
Rohan McNellie told the Jamaica Observer Central that the immediate plan for 2016 is to build the social component of the business.
He said that a Recreational Vehicle (RV) has been acquired which will be transformed into a mobile clinic to reach out to rural communities.
“The new approach is prevention. Early detection is key,” he said.
He said that the frequency of lifestyle diseases is distressing because many times it is preventable.
Rohan McNellie said that the mobile clinic will be free and he hopes to engage different groups in order for the offerings to be omprehensive and long-term.
“I want to take the health message to the people,” he said.
