300 tourists to arrive on first Beijing-Havana direct flight
HAVANA, Cuba (CMC) – The first Air China direct flight from Beijing, China, is scheduled to arrive here on December 27.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the first flight will bring 300 passengers — the first of many who are expected to visit the island.
The Ministry says one of Air China’s Boeing 777 aircraft will connect Beijing and Havana three times per week with a stop over in Montreal, Canada.
According to the National Statistics officer here, between January and September this year, over 20,000 Chinese tourists travelled to the Spanish-speaking Caribbean island.
