According to a news release from the police’s Corporate Communications Unit, arrangements are now being made for him to be questioned in the presence of his attorney.
Head of the St James Division, Senior Superintendent Steve McGregor, disclosed that extensive work done by the Divisional Intelligence Unit is showing that the incident was a reprisal for a drive-by incident in the community earlier this month.
SSP McGregor says a strong police presence remains in the area.
Meanwhile, sleuths are seeking four people they believe can assist them in the investigation. They are: Mitchroy Grant, otherwise called ‘Biggs’; Rushard Cooke, otherwise called ‘Irons’; Shamar Bernard, otherwise called ‘Shampoo’; and a man known only as ‘Gangsta Ras’.
The police have given the men until 5:00 pm on Friday, December 18, to make contact with the Montego Bay police.
