Cops seeking man they believe can help with MoBay jailbreak case
ST JAMES, Jamaica – The police in St James are looking for a man they believe can assist with their investigations into the November 30 jailbreak at the Freeport Police Station in Montego Bay.Read: Six prisoners on the run in St JamesRead: One of six escaped MoBay prisoners shot dead
He has been identified as Ithream Shurriah.
Detectives are asking Shurriah to make contact with the Montego Bay police by 5:00 pm on Friday, December 18.
Head of the St James Police Division Senior Superintendent Steve McGregor said the investigation has progressed considerably.
Since the six men escaped, two have been recaptured and a third was fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with the police.
The men who remain on the run are: Shaniel Luton, who is convicted of two counts of murder; Kelvin Hodge, who is charged for four counts of murder; and Marcus Robinson, who is charged for illegal possession of firearm.
