Miss Kingston Iconic
MARK the date, folks. The 10th staging of Miss Kingston Iconic Youth and Talent Pageant is set for December 19 at 37 Mahoe Drive in Seiveright Gardens, Kingston 11.
A total of 10 contestants from Seiveright Gardens, neighbouring communities, and Tavern, will vie for the coveted crown, trophy, gift basket, and cash prize.
On Monday night, promoters Paul Facey and Sherece Cameron expressed high anticipation for the event, which they use as a forum to give back to their Seiveright Gardens community.
“It is an excellent opportunity for the girls to learn proper grooming and other skills,” Cameron told the Jamaica Observer.
She and Facey added that they have been proud to host the event, as it has already led to at least three contestants becoming Pulse models. The contestants will appear in casual, evening and swimwear.
The event has so far received sponsorship from Big Sip Wholesale, S&L Solutions LLC, Alles Pharmacy, Hot Stepper Entertainment, and CVMTV’s On Stage.
