Reno seek to end RSPL winless streak
FROME, Westmoreland — Former champions FC Reno will hope to snap a nine-game winless run when they host Harbour View FC in their second-round Red Stripe Premier League game at Frome Sports Club on Sunday, starting at 3:00 pm.
FC Reno have slipped out of the top three places in the points tables, all the way down to seventh place, after starting the season with three wins from their first four games.
The Westmoreland-based club that just managed to retain their place in the Premier League last season, have drawn their last two games, both away from Frome and will hope that returning to their home ground will spark a winning run.
All three wins for FC Reno have come at home, and they are hopeful that they will be able to get the better of Harbour View, who are two points ahead of them in the tables, and have won just one of their last four games.
The Michael Graham-coached team will hope too that they will be able to maintain their momentum, coming from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw against Waterhouse at Drewsland in St Andrew on Sunday.
Kacey Bromfield scored both goals on Sunday, and is expected to lead the team this weekend on their hunt for full points.
