Cornwall College hope for return to winning form
WAKEFIELD, Trelawny — Cornwall College will be hoping to rebound to winning ways this afternoon when they travel to face Muschett High in two ISSA Western Conference boys’ basketball games in Wakefield, Trelawny.
Cornwall College are coming off losses to double defending champions Herbert Morrison Technical on Friday, snapping their unbeaten run, and will face Muschett teams still struggling to find their rhythm.
Also this afternoon, Herbert Morrison Technical will seek a fifth-straight win in the Under-16 section when they travel to leaders Holland High.
Holland are on nine points, just one more than Herbert Morrison, fresh from gutsy come-from-behind win over Cornwall College on Friday, and will go into the game on a high.
Muschett are also coming off a close win, edging Holland High 22-21 in a low-scoring Under-16 game, but it may need more than that to get the better of a Cornwall College team who will be hungry for a win.
In the Under-19 section, Muschett and Cornwall have both won once and lost another, and are both tied on three points each.
