Atlanta ‘wives’ make Jamaica housecall
Cast and crew of the American reality television series, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, were in Jamaica last week shooting scenes for their upcoming eighth season.
The series, which airs on Bravo, focuses on the personal and professional lives of a group of women from Atlanta.
Scenes were shot at various locations in Kingston as well as at the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios, and Blue Waters Beach Club in Trelawny.
It is understood that Jamaican production company Phase 3 was involved with the project.
Several cast members posted pictures from their stay on social media.
The series focuses on Lisa Wu-Hartwell, DeShawn Snow, NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak, and Sheree Whitfield; the eighth season lineup consists of Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams and Kim Fields, best known for her roles in The Facts of Life and Living Single.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta has received favourable reviews from critics and is ranked among the top shows on Bravo, averaging over 2.2 million viewers in the 18-49 demographic.
