Cops seeking ‘Geenie’ after taxi driver stabbed to death
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – Thirty-eight-year-old Oral Campbell, a taxi operator from Beeston Spring, Westmoreland, was stabbed to death by a man in his community on Saturday.
Reports from the Bluefields police are that about 1:25 am, Campbell and the man had a dispute during which he was stabbed in his chest with a knife.
The police were reportedly summoned and Campbell was taken to hospital. He died while undergoing treatment.
In the meantime, the police are asking a man known as ‘Geenie’ to report to the Bluefields Police Station immediately. According to a information from the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Corporate Communications Unit, the police believe ‘Geenie’ may be able to assist with their investigation.
