Minister of Health Dr Fenton Ferguson in one of the three vehicles handed over recently to the South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA). In the background are Dr Dutris Bourne (left), regional technical director for the SERHA, and Maureen Golding, regional director for the SERHA. The vehicles were purchased at a cost of $14,245,448.24 to transport staff and medical supplies. Each parish in the south east region will receive one of the vehicles. The health ministry said that since 2012, approximately 70 new vehicles have been added to the fleet of vehicles for the health sector.
