Gas prices down $1.95, diesel down $0.10
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, October 15, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold by Petrojam for $100.69 and $102.35 per litre, respectively, down by $1.95 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $95.83 per litre following a decrease of $0.10, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.37, and will be sold for $103.18 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene oil decreased in price by $0.28 and will be sold for $91.90 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $35.16 per litre, up by $0.04 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $41.03 per litre after an increase of $0.15.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
