April Jackson advances on ‘Apprentice’ show
KINGSTON, Jamaica – To the displeasure of many British viewers, April Jackson was not booted off the reality business show, ‘Apprentice’, Wednesday. Instead, 24-year-old Dan Callaghan was the first contestant to be booted.
The contestants were split into mixed teams and challenged to market fresh fish.
According to Express.co.uk, Jackson made a series of mistakes – from serving overpriced salad to only managing to cook up 89 out of her 3,000 proposed fish cakes – that didn’t go unnoticed by the British public.
This resulted in the former Miss Jamaica Universe receiving an overwhelming backlash online.
One Twitter user said: “April is the definition of foul. ‘I’m taller, and prettier than anyone here’. What’s your height and looks got to do with it?”
The show, which is in its 11th season, is aired on BBC every Wednesday.
