Hey guys! Ever sat down to do work, but thought “Hey, I’ll just watch one YouTube video first”? Then it’s two YouTube videos, then three, then you’re in the weird part of YouTube and you have no idea how to get out but you keep clicking on videos anyway, and it all gets more and more weird?! *exhales*

Yes? Us too.We’ve done it so many times we’ve become experts on trusty YouTubers that can help get you out of the dark crevices of YouTube. Here’s the first installment of YouTube journeys.

 “What up everyone? It’s your girl Superwoman!” Well not really, not all of us at teenAGE are girls and none of us is named Superwoman (sadly). However, there is one extremely funny lady who would fit all those categories; Allow us to introduce you to the super successful YouTuber Lily Singh AKA iiSuperwomanii.

             This relatable lady is the first of a long list of awesome YouTube channels that we’ve prepared especially for you guys, and rightfully so. Why you ask? Because after you’ve watched your first video of hers you will begin digging yourself into a never ending hole that you really don’t want to get out of anyway because said hole is filled with too much awesome. 

            Don’t believe us or her 6.8 million subscribers? Here’s the part where we convince you. Cue bullet points (or numbers, since our editor really hates bullet points)!

1)       Lily is a Canadian whose parents are originally from India which makes her Indian herself. She often speaks on how great she thinks it is that she’s shedding light on the versatility within the Indian community, while knocking down stereotypes left right and centre. She’s Indian but she’s not only good for her curry, and she’s a woman but you’ll catch her wearing more t-shirts and jeans than dresses and high heels.

2)         She’s really pretty. Just throwing that out there.

3)      Funny and relatable are probably her middle names. Lily’s channel is focused on providing hilarious content for just about anyone who clicks on it. Some of her most popular videos include “How Girls Get Ready”, “How I Clean My Room”, “Girls On Their Period”, “Types of Crushes”, “The Rules of Racism” and lots more. We can guarantee you multiple moments where you’ll go “OMG that is so me!”

4)     She’s a motivational speaker who has battled depression and won. Now that’s what you call a superwoman.

5)     She’s multi-talented. Not only is she super funny but she’s also a pretty good rapper. Lily has recorded and made music videos for a couple of her songs, including “#LEH” and “Clean Up Anthem”

6)      She loves listening to Dancehall music. Yup you read that right, dancehall songs can be heard in her videos via the actually songs or her using slangs from the songs. Either way it’s pretty darn entertaining.

7)      Her hair will leave you either wanting to have it, or wanting to touch it, there is no in between.

8)      And last but not least, she’s a super sweet person with a heart of gold. At least that’s how she comes off in her videos, and those are the only bits of her life we’re seeing anyways so the rest really doesn’t matter.
