Delta flight evacuated in MoBay after fire on-board
ST JAMES, Jamaica — Passengers were today evacuated from Delta flight 304 at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James after smoke was seen coming from a section of the aircraft.
The flight which was scheduled for departure came to a halt about 3:30 pm after the pilot reportedly observed the smoke.
It was later discovered that there was a fire in the cargo section which damaged luggage.
The police this afternoon confirmed that no one was injured.
