TSO FRIDAY
OCTOBER 9
Another year, another October and the lure of wish lists gets flavoured with sales, limited offers, and game show-style giveaways. Such was the pervasive appeal, last Thursday, as the Jamaica Observer Take Style Out made its annual return to The Rock’s retail landscape. With an eye trained on the Corporate Area marketplace of Liguanea, Friday Social makes a quick scan of the neighbourhood’s store directory and maps out stops at Max Brown at Sovereign Centre, Island Art & Framing in Orchid Village, and Sovereign North’s Stunning Boutique.

While the trendy shop window display inspired passers-by to make a stylish detour, in-store libations were the masculine accompaniment to rack perusals, valet-style dressing-room fittings, and point-of-sale transactions.

Determined to leave Max Brown saddled with a few shopping bags, businessman Coy Harris happily receives a pair of chinos, from the menswear shop’s owner, to complement a button-up snagged from the shop floor.
